But they do understand numbers and conversions!) and our last test yielded a 27% conversion rate on pay-per-click traffic. Our affiliate program pays a 50% commission.

ClickBank actually calculates the commissions according to their policies, terms, and conditions, but here is an approximation of the commission calculation:
